Text Box: Dear Members,
There's something about horses.  As I look out my kitchen window, through the growth of yellow wild flowers and across the fence, I see the sunshine-shimmer off Latte's white mane as she grazes alongside her buddy, Ruby.  Trilogy is trying, giraffe-like, to reach the tender branches at the top of the mesquite tree, while Moonlight and Thunder, the minis, feast on the under brush.  What is this feeling of contentment that overcomes me as I watch my horses mundanely munching in the pasture?  It's a part of the whole horse scenario, the inborn love that all “horsey” people seem to possess for these equine friends.  Do you remember the first horse you ever saw?  I remember mine.  I was three or four years old.  A fellow came to our community offering to take photographs of the neighborhood children on his paint pony.  I was mesmerized.  A furry four-legged beast that you could actually sit on and ride!  From that time on I honed in on horses.  My books were horse stories.  My drawings were of, you guessed it!  I loved cowboy movies, actually any movie with horses prominently featured.  Today, decades later, my fascination with horses remains.  Their beauty, power and nobility, still take my breath away.  As Will Rogers

Wildcat Spring Event
We’d like to remind everyone of our June 25th campout and ride at Wildcat Spring.  This is one of the more enjoyable RFC events of the year.  Wildcat Spring is a lovely riding area with winding green valleys, pine-covered hills and several water crossings.  It is not unusual to run into deer
